Oil Changes

Regular oil changes extend the life of your engine

It is recommended to change your oil every 3,000 miles if you are using standard oil and every 5,000 miles if you are using synthetic. If you push your oil changes past too many miles, you can build up sludge in sensitive areas inside your engine. This can starve your engine of oil. This can damage internal engine bearings, variable valve timing components, camshafts, push rods, engine valves, rocker arms and timing chain assemblies.

Engine Tune-up

We change spark plugs and wires as needed

Most engines come with iridium tipped spark plugs that last up to 100,000 miles. We recommend changing spark plugs around 60,000 miles. This will reduce the strain old spark plugs put on the rest of your ignition system. The 100,000 miles is based off lab results and our 60,000 miles is based off over all driving conditions. Corrosion can build up in the threads of the steel spark plugs that are screwed into an aluminum engine. After a lot of heat and combustion it is likely that some damage can occur when spark plugs are left in the engine for 100,000 miles or more.
